First thing that comes to mind is: why did I buy that Pre?
Anyway, here’s the link.
I hope Palm updates their Google Maps app to have this available on the Palm Web Os… but seeing how Palm is doing things it might take a while. I think their over their heads and I really regret buying a Pre. All of the software updates I’m getting are just fixing big bugs. There’s very little new features and the features are generally missing things that and iPhone already has. If you’re bloody copying them, why is it so difficult to get it right?
Still, Android was always my first choice. It’s just that the HTC hero is not available in Canada yet. It will be next month though.
Why not an iPhone, you say? Well, Mr iPhone, why no Google Voice? Why no Open Apps? Why no multi-tasking( … well, that feature is kind of new, so I won’t give them a hard time about it, they’ll come aroun), why no replaceable battery? Why no memory expansion slot (this one is for the Pre too)?

Pretty interesting stuff. I always thought the Facebook interface was junk. I love this initiative. Instead of waiting for them to change it you take the law in your hands. ;-)

It looks nothing like it used to.
It looks like some stuff coming out of Nickelodeon. Horrible. I’ll look the other way. :-(
I enjoyed this movie quite a bit. It’s some kind of black comedy about the US and UK promoting a war (sound familiar?).
It all revolves around a couple of politicians. Some agree with the war and others don’t want that to happen. Still, it’s not very clear who’s side anyone is on.
It’s shot in a “handheld” camera kind of style to give it more realism. It’s also pretty well written.
And without digging much more into detail I leave you with a quote:
“He’s got his little cannons and he’s got his little guns, and… This is the problem with civilians wanting to go to war. Once you’ve been there, once you’ve seen it, you never want to go again unless you absolutely fucking have to… It’s like France. ”
